Empowering Malaysian Women through Wanita MyWira Accelerator

Today, YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, together with YB Steven Sim, Minister of Human Resources, co-chaired the Wanita MyWira Accelerator, a groundbreaking initiative under Ekonomi MADANI and aligned with the Dasar Wanita Negara 2025–2030: “Memartabat Wanita, Memperkukuh Negara” at Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
This programme represents Malaysia’s firm commitment to close gender wage gap by advancing women’s economic empowerment, and enabling women to thrive through flexible work arrangement, targeted training, and inclusive opportunities.
Phase 1 will empower 1,000 women across 1000 employers, paving the way for future expansion to reach 100,000 women nationwide by year 2030. Together, we are building a Malaysia where every woman has equal access, equal opportunity, and equal dignity by strengthening families, communities, and the nation.
